Draft Consultation Responses: The Allocation of Accommodation and Armed Forces Regulations; and Social Housing Fraud

Consideration was given to the proposed responses to two recent Government consultations. The first related to new draft statutory guidance on social housing allocations and regulations in respect of the housing needs of former Service personnel. The second sought views on proposals to reduce the prevalence of fraud within social housing.
The Cabinet resolved that:
The draft consultation responses set out at Annexes 1 and 2 to the report be approved.
Reasons: As set out in the joint report of the Director of Health and Housing and Director of Finance.
